Certified Management Consultant (CMC)
A Certified Management Consultant (CMC) is a professional who has been trained to provide expert advice and guidance to businesses and organizations to help them improve their operations and achieve their goals. CMCs are typically highly educated and have a wealth of experience in a variety of business disciplines, including operations, management, finance, marketing, and human resources. To become a CMC, an individual must pass a rigorous certification process that includes completing a certain amount of education and work experience, as well as passing a comprehensive examination. Once certified, a CMC must adhere to a strict code of ethics and continue their education to maintain their certification. The CMC designation is awarded by The Institute of Management Consultants. Tom has been a CMC since 1999.
Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
A Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence is a professional who has been trained to help businesses and organizations improve their operations and achieve their goals through the implementation of effective quality management and organizational excellence practices. To become a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, an individual must pass a certification process that includes completing a certain amount of education and work experience, as well as passing a comprehensive examination. Once certified, a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence must adhere to a strict code of ethics and continue their education to maintain their certification. This certification is only offered by the American Society for Quality. Tom has been a CMQ/OE since 1996.
Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001:2015
A Certified Lead Auditor is a professional who has been trained to conduct audits to assess the effectiveness and compliance of an organization’s quality management system. Lead auditors are typically responsible for planning and conducting audits, analyzing data and findings, and making recommendations for improvement. To become a Certified Lead Auditor, an individual must pass a certification process that includes completing a certain amount of education and work experience, as well as passing a comprehensive examination. Once certified, a Certified Lead Auditor must adhere to a strict code of ethics and continue their education to maintain their certification. This certification is typically offered by professional organizations that specialize in quality management. Tom received his certification in 2018 to the current revision of the Standard.
Master of Quality (MOQ)
A Master of Quality (MOQ) is a professional who has been trained and experienced in advanced quality management principles and practices. The MOQ designation is earned through the completion of an advanced-level program in quality management, which includes coursework in areas such as process improvement, risk avoidance, and supply chain management. To earn the MOQ designation, an individual must also have a certain amount of work experience and pass comprehensive examinations. Once earned, the MOQ designation signifies a high level of expertise in quality management and can be used to enhance an individual’s professional reputation and career opportunities. The MOQ program is a five-level certification course with increasingly elevated certifications. This designation is offered only by Kaizen Online, in collaboration with Quality Digest and as a Recognized Training Provider for Exemplar Global.
